It’s been said that kitchens are the heart of the home. This
is one of the reasons we love bringing new life to them through remodeling.
Kruse Home Improvement has been working on a kitchen in East Hartford that is
in the final phases of construction.
We were tasked with updating the feel, while increasing
functionality and space – who wouldn’t want that? These things were
accomplished through adding lighting, and new cabinets with increased storage along
with lighting underneath the cabinets for an even brighter look. Another new
aspect is the awning window over the sink, which allows the upper cabinets to
be carried across the top.
In a sense, the space itself is new, given that we opened up
the wall behind the cooktop for visual access into the living room. With more space
comes the option to move appliances. Just as with rearranging furniture in a living
room, new locations for appliances can refresh a kitchen.
Gleaming granite countertops in Verde Butterfly will add beauty while providing
a lasting surface that is simple to clean and relatively
impervious to heat and scratches.
Thanks so much for sharing!
